Checking In! 12/20

The tree is up, stockings are hung, and that's about it. This year I just have not gotten into the holiday spirit. It has been snowing since the beginning of December and it could leave any day now and I would be thrilled! The snow came on way to early this year. We don't normally start getting hammered like we have been until January. I used to love snow, but every year I get older I dislike it a bit more each year. I just can never seem to get warm, my hands and feet are always freezing.

I have been trying to workout as much as I can with all the holiday craziness, but I have been getting a bit off track with all of it. I have been trying to do my best, with eating right, but I have given in quite a bit with all the sweet treats around. Maybe after the holidays I will be able to get my mind set back on track.

I also haven't done my usual holiday Christmas cookie baking this year. I don't want to be tempted to eat those cookies. I did make one batch though and let me tell ya they didn't last long.

I cannot wait for 2011!! This year has had it's ups and downs. The best part of 2010 was that I lost over 20 pounds in 6 months with the help and support of Mamavation! I love you all! I will be starting Turbo Fire after the new year and maybe that will really help me to jump start the New Year and get my mind back on track. Another thing that I have been neglecting is my yoga. My biggest problem is finding a time when it is quiet in the house. Before when JR was working he would go to bed early and the kids would also be in bed. Now that he is laid off he is up with the TV blaring so it's hard to find that peace. I don't know maybe I need to find a pair of head phones with an extra long cord!

I am really hoping to be able to go to Beachbody Super Saturday Event in the Burgh. on January 8th! I will be learning all the new and exciting things that will be happening with BeachBody in the New Year as well as group workout! As long as the weather isn't to bad(1.5 hour drive) I will be there and I now that will help me get out of this slump!

This week’s blogging carnival is sponsored by @tribalenergy4u. Two winners of the carnival will win a Tribal Energy Cardio DVD.

Congrats on your awesome weight loss for the year! You rock!

I hope you are able to get back into yoga... I need to carve out some time, myself. What is the beachbody event? Sounds interesting. I would love to get a "beach body" again. Lol.

Have a great week and a Happy Holiday!

Wow! Fantastic weight loss!!

We've gotten hammered with snow this year too. We got more in 10 days than all of last year. I seems that we're constantly digging ourselves out!

Merry Christmas! And yay for 2011!!

I am so with you on the snow. I am hoping my hubby gets the job in TX so I can be snow free for a few years.
I haven't done any holiday baking and I just pray no one comes to my door with goodies, lol..that sounded sad.
Way to go on 20lbs lost this year! Looks like you have some great things in store for 2011!
Merry Christmas!

20 pounds is awesome! Great job! I feel you on the weather, except here it's been raining for what feels like forever. We have a couple weeks of rain in November, and now the biggest rain storm in California history. I can tell you that I haven't gotten very much shopping done. I hope it clears up for you soon and that you're able to have a great Christmas! Congrats again on doing so well this year!
