Mamavation Week 2

This week has been a busy one that's for sure. My computer got a bug and was down for a few days. I have been trying to work on the graphics and layout of this blog and in the process messed up my other blog The Simple Jocabell Life. On the plus side I was accepted into theMamavation Sistahood! I was so excited I almost started screaming at 1am when @bookieboo announced all the new Sistas of the week, but then realized I would wake up the rest of the house. After all the issues during the week though I do have to say that I had an amazing weekend! Saturday the hubby and I rode up to Roar on the Shore 2010! I love to ride with him and we don't get to do it often due to the kids, but when we do it's a blast! Sunday my daughter had a horse show and she won 5 First place ribbons! I am so proud of her!
I didn't do as good as I would have liked, but I think I did pretty good. First off I did drink alot more water than I have been. I think one of my biggest problems is that I don't eat enough and I have really realized it this week. I would eat first thing in the morning, but I have a pill that I have to take on an empty stomach and can't eat for 1/2 hour after I take it. Thus, by the time I can eat I am in the middle of doing something and eating just doesn't even cross my mind at that point and the thing is I don't even feel hungry. If someone would tweet me in the morning and ask if I have eaten yet that would be awesome!

Well, on my exercising... I didn't get in as much as I would have liked, but I hope that this week will be better.

Do you love Bananas, cuz I love Bananas, especially Chiquita Bananas. In fact we can never keep Bananas in our house for more than 2 days because everyone LOVES them!

I was thinking this morning, is it better to aim low and accomplish something or is it better to aim really high and just try to accomplish it?

You sound like you're maybe aiming too high or maybe don't have specific goals for the eating and exercise? I know when I say I'm going to exercise 7 days a week (which I never say, btw ha ha) that I'm bound to disappoint myself and it will be a lot of mental pressure too.

Congrats on becoming a Sista! I hope to joining soon! Remember to set smaller achievable goals. Pack some healthy snacks for when you are on the go, like a trail mix, or some nuts and fruit. That way you are sure to have something to eat on hand.

Do you have to take your pill at a certain time of day or only on an empty stomach? Have you tried taking it as soon as you wake up, that way by the time you get to your breakfast, enough time has passed? Or what about just before going to bed at night?

Good luck with your goals this week We'll make sure you're eating enough :)

Write out an ideal eating schedule for your day that incorporates your pill and waiting times then set an alarm so you can follow it. It sounds silly but you need to train yourself into these good habits so that you get those good calories in your body. Schedule your water too for the fun of it as well. Good luck.

My cousin did that for years. Every once in a while I got to ride her horse. Daaaaang those things are expensive!
